The Centennial Kick-Off

The Centennial Kick-Off party this New Year’s Eve was a resounding success!  It was a sold out crowd of over 150 GLP friends and family that was the perfect evening to launch the Centennial fundraising campaign to raise $100,000 for two commemorative projects – a Multi-Purpose Shade Pavilion and Clark Hall renovation with over $3500 raised.  Also unveiled that evening was the 100-year wooden banner that will be added to our GLP sign in 2021 at the entrance on East Shore which was donated by Will & Deacon Prince.

Thank you to the dedicated members of the New Year’s Eve Committee who worked for months planning the night including Co-Chairs Celeste Burns and Debbie Ferriter, and members Kathy DiFrancesca, Amanda Gallagher, Mary Kay Pappas, Lori Perrone, and Debbie Reid. The Centennial Committee Chair, Kimberly LaLima, and Association Board Member, Lesley Mahoney, successfully worked through the night getting many donations.

Thank you as well to all those who participated and donated to the event including: Charlie and Dale Primiano, John & Jean Bittl, Celeste & Ken Burns, Debbie & Chuck Coldwell, Sarah Coldwell, Coastal Gourmet Catering, Terri Butler Coty, Dave & Jak Cruthers, Kathy & Don DiFrancesca, Debbie & Jack Ferriter, Jon Fuller, Ann Marie LaFayette, Hannah & John Lombardo, Jeff & Kimberly LaLima, Lesley & Patrick Mahoney, Garold & Katharine Miller, Oyster Club Restaurant, Mary Kay & Jamie Pappas, Lori & Tony Perrone, and Katy Reed.
